For over 250 years we’ve been making pizza and history.
Based on a simple recipe, our traditional 10 inch pies are made from only type 00 wheat flour, authentic Neapolitan yeast, salt & water. Formed by hand and topped with only the highest quality ingredients, our pies take only 60 to 90 seconds to cook when placed in our stone, wood fired 485°c (905°f) ovens. This produces the soft, elastic, tender and fragrant crust that made us famous the world over. In 1889, Queen Margherita of Savoy visited Naples. In honor of the Queen, Chef Raffaele Esposito and his wife created a pizza resembling the Italian flag and its colors; red (tomato), white (mozzarella) and green (basil). Later that same year, Queen Margherita penned a letter identifying Brandi Pizzeria as the originator of the Margherita Pizza.
